Clinical Trials Overview

Clinical trials provide important information on the benefits, side effects, and possible uses for therapeutic candidates. Trials may evaluate new uses for currently available treatments, investigational drugs, or a combination of both. Therapies that meet the safety and efficacy standards of regulatory agencies like the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) can be approved as treatment options for people who may benefit.

G1 is advancing a pipeline of novel therapies that address significant unmet needs in people with cancer. While our initial focus is on small-cell lung cancer and breast cancer, we plan to expand our platform in multiple oncology indications. G1 adheres to standard guidelines for the potential use of our investigational drugs outside of current clinical trials (please see our statement on expanded access).
